Justin returned to South Africa in 2007 having spent five years running his own marketing business in the UK. Concerned by high levels of violent crime and our resultant fear and powerlessness, he began the national awareness campaign Stop Crime Say Hello.
Passionately pro-South Africa but also a realist, Justin is an accomplished speaker, writer and consultant who works to mobilize citizens to play a positive role in the future of South Africa. Best known for his regular fortnightly newspaper column The Flipside, his work presents an alternative, inspiring but practical narrative in an increasingly negative nation. Whether it is working with the board of a multi-national company or kids in a school hall, Justin’s message inspires all South Africans to take an active role in the building of our nation.
In 2010, Justin and his wife Cathy launched The Peace Agency, a national NGO that cares for abandoned, orphaned and at risk children. Justin is also a passionate advocate for adoption.
He was voted LeadSA’s 2014 Hero of the Year for Kwa-Zulu Natal and has been nominated for the ANN7 South African of the Year Award.

Justin’s areas of expertise are Media and Communications, Facilitation, Stakeholder Relations Management, Leadership and Community Development, and he is a world-class motivational speaker! Justin has been described as: creative, wise, calm, courageous, humble and deeply passionate about the possibilities for South Africa.
